My name is Melissa Moore and I am a special education teacher at WES. This is my 1st year teaching at Whitesburg but my 5th year for Carroll County schools. I am a Carroll County native and currently live in Roopville. I graduated from Central High School and I am proud to be able to serve in the Central Cluster. I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a bachelors in Special Education and Georgia Southern University with a Masters in Special Education with an added Autism endorsement. I enjoy providing all of my students with their appropriate learning environment, supports, and accommodations in order for them to truly see their capabilities. My favorite thing about teaching is celebrating every victory, small or large, with my students. I love being with family and friends. All of my spare time is spent with my husband and our two year old son. We have a farm and enjoy being with our animals and outside.
