Bio

Jennifer Breedon is a Georgia native and lives in Grantville with her husband, Ben, and children.  She has a beautiful bonus daughter, Maggie, and toddler, Knox.  Mrs. Breedon has been teaching since 2005.  She has taught at WES since 2015.  This year, Mrs Breedon is excited to be growing with 2nd graders. Mrs. Breedon earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of West Georgia in 2004.  In 2008, she earned her Master's Degree in Instructional Technology at Troy University.  It was Mrs. Breedon’s great honor to be the 2016-2017 Whitesburg Teacher of the Year.  She completed the National Institute for STEM Education program in 2018 and became a nationally STEM certified teacher.  She is also Google 1 certified. In the 2018-2019 school year, she was the recipient of the the Bright Ideas Grant and the Pets in the Classroom Grant. Her classroom is home to a leopard geckos, Peanut.   Mrs. Breedon is the facilitator of Girls Who Code Club.  In her spare time, Mrs. Breedon enjoys listening to podcasts, going on trips, and watching her favorite shows.  She spends as much time as she can enjoying family, friends, her two cats and one dog.
