Kristy Gulledge grew up in the Carroll County school system in the Bowdon school district. She earned her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia. She has taught at Whitesburg since 2012, when she began as a long term EIP substitute. She taught 1st grade for three years, and this is her seventh year teaching 3rd grade ELA. In 2016, she earned her gifted certification. She is currently perusing her dyslexia endorsement for reading. Kristy currently lives in Carrollton with her husband, Cody, and their daughter, Emma.
