I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelors degree in Speech April 2014. Half way through this program, I fell in love with the aspect of teaching children with exceptional needs instead of teaching speech, so I continued my education to obtain my Masters degree in Special Education which I obtained April 2016.

I am excited to be into my second year of teaching children Pre- K through 3rd grade with exceptional needs at Whitesburg Elementary School. I am not only the In-School Coordinator for the Special Education Department (SPED), but I am also the team leader for our department.

My husband and I reside in Carrollton, Georgia, and we have four boys. Two of our boys, Jonah and Paul, attend WES. During our family time, we enjoy eating out at different restaurants, going to the movies, spending time with extended family, and watching Jonah and Paul play various sports such as soccer and football.
