I graduated from the University of West Georgia in 1988 with a BS degree in Early Childhood Education.  I also have my teacher support specialist endorsement.

I graduated on a Saturday in March, 1988 and started teaching kindergarten at Grantville Brown Elementary School on the following Monday. The following fall, I transferred to Arnco-Sargent Elementary School to be closer to home.  At Arnco-Sargent Elementary School, I taught first grade, kindergarten, and fourth grade until 2004.  In 2005, I changed school systems so to have the same school calendar as my children who were attending Carroll County. I began teaching first grade at Whitesburg Elementary School. Since that time I have taught pre-kindergarten and second grade at Whitesburg Elementary School. Presently, I am teaching kindergarten.

I am a Carroll County native.  I am married to Bruce Eison, and we have three married children and one wonderful grandson. I enjoy reading, baking, and oil painting by the Bob Ross Method.  I also enjoy singing with my daughters at my church, traveling, spending time with family, and playing with my grandson.  I have always wanted to teach ever since I helped my classmates in kindergarten. When I became a teacher, it was a dream come true. I was so eager to begin teaching that I started teaching two days after I graduated college. Now years later, I hope that I continue to instill the love of learning in my students.
